Hi, I’m not a teen but I’m a single working mom too.
It’s really hard not to fall to the guilt-trap especially when you strive hard to juggle a lot of things to make life better for the two of you and just by looking at your daughter’s face will make you feel you’re still lacking to give her what she deserves.

Spend time to bond. Talk to her everyday and sneak some minutes in your hectic schedule just to check on her. Get to know her thoughts, activities, interests and learn to appreciate her world. Likewise, take her to see your world too so that she’ll appreciate the sacrifice and the love you have for her.

hi i am a single mom too

and i have been for 8 yrs my son is now 13
they understand trust me you feel bad but at a certain age kids figure it out and when they say mom its ok they really mean it.

i had to feel the pull of leaving and staying late while i went to back to school so i could take care of him better

just make sure if you say sat or sun we are going to go do this DO IT make sure you spend quality time when you do make Sunday dinner special to this day Sunday dinner is “OUR” time

as she gets older she will understand that you did it all for her i promise and when you hear mom thank you for doing it all
like i heard it i broke down and cried
he really did understand
