My children are mostly grown now (I only have the 16 yr old to worry about), so my day is nothing like yours, but I remember those days very well! My oldest two are the same age for 6 weeks, so when they were babies it was very challenging. I just wanted to offer up that it DOES get much better as they get a little older!
sounds pretty normal to me…but here’s a tip…time for yourself wont just appear you have to work it out. you might want to consider getting up maybe 15 min earlier in the morning and spend sometime for yourself doing something that you enjoy…or maybe have your husband cook some nights of the week or so that you can have a little time to yourself. or even this put your oldest child to bed a little earlier and use that time to yourself.
5:30 AM - Madison wakes up. I feed her and we lay down together for another hour
6:30 AM - Madison and I get up to take a shower. She plays in a safe area where she can see mom and I can get ready.
7:15 AM - I leave for work and my husband gets up and takes a shower. He takes Madison to Gloria’s house 4 blocks away at 8.
7:30 AM - Get coffee from Starbucks for boss.
8:00 AM - At office until 5:00 PM
5:00 PM - Drive to Gloria’s and pick up Madison
5:30 PM - Madison and Mom & Dad go for walk and by the park for a quick swing

6:30 PM - Bath time, put on PJ’s
7:00 PM - Drink last bottle and read books with mom and dad
7:30 PM - Lights out for Madison
8:00 PM - Madison asleep and now mom who is pregnant again goes to sleep.
nexy day get up and do it all over a gain

boys in bed by 8:30
excercise and answer e-mail or whatever
in bed by 10 or so
its imperitive you have a day where you are not under the gun for anything other than the obvious…..feeding and stuff
kids the ages you have require more sleep than they are getting (i taught preschool for 20 years and work in special ed now)
the 3.5 month old should be sleeping through the night
sounds like you need to become the mominator!!! get tough about bedtimes and thats how you’ll get your time to yourself.
So you spend all of about an hour of quality time with your children each day? If that? Time when you are not doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, showering, etc.
Wow, congratulations. I’m sure your kids appreciate the time. And yet you are asking how to get some time for yourself.
Time to reevaluate.
When I was working my day would start at 4am when I would get up get dressed and feed all the livestock at 5 I got my shower and got dressede for work at 6 I woke the kids up fixed breakfast got them ready for school and straightened the house at 7:15 they got on the bus for school and I headed to my job which was a 40 minute drive and worked till 5 when I would head home. As soon as I got home I would start supper while my husband fed the animals about 6 we would eat then right after supper I checked over homework and spent time with the kids and at 7:30 while they were getting baths then I cleaned the kitchen and got things ready for the next morning then after their baths it was time for bedtime stories and kisses. Finally about 9 I got to go around and pick up things spend about 10 minutes talking to my husband before he fell asleep then paid bills read the mail worked on laundry and would finally fall into bed about midnight only to start over again in four hours. When you are a mom it doesn’t matter if you work or stay at home you never have time to think or be selfish. Thankfully my oldest was 14 at the time and helped out a lot of the time.
